Greek myths

Over the past couple of weeks in English we have been learning about Greek myths. We have read different types of myths like Theseus and the Minotaur, Daedalus and Icarus, Perseus and Medusa and The wooden horse of Troy. We have been writing playscripts and making up plays with partners and some of us showed them to year 5. Also for homework we had a list of greek people thet we had been learning about, then we had to find out infomation about that person and turn it into a poem, a poster or a speech. We painted pictures of Cyclops, The Minotaur, Icarus, Daedalues, The Medusa and the wooden horse of Troy, which are all from different Greek myths, we got in to groups and used all sorts of materials like tissue paper, paints, card and lots more.

These are our finished products.

This is Cyclops

This is the Minotaur

This is Medusa

This is Icarus

This is Daedalus

This is the wooden horse
